Is alias Pasha (a former'Prime Minister), Wissa Wassif (ex-Prosidcut of the Cluuubcr), and Fachri (an ex-deputy) have been summoned, .to, appear before the Native Council. It is alleged that they demanded £132,000 from the mother .of the mad Prince Soir-ed-Diu lor representing her in an action which was brought with fche object of releasing him. I A sensation was caused in Cairo last July by tlie publication of a document allegedly signed in February, 1927, by Nahas Pasha in the capacity of lawyer and legal agent for Prince Armed. Seif-ed-Din, who escaped from a private asylum at Ticchurst, Sussex, in 1925, whereby Nahas and two political associates were to receive £135,QU0 if they were successful in securing the annulment of the interdictment in favour of the prince. It was recalled that the prince was sentenced to imprisonment for shooting at King Fund in 1892. He was thereafter declared insane, and mysteriously taken to England whence he escaped.]
