An enjoyable concert was Held in the Kirkland Hall, Green Island, on Monday evening last, in aid of the Presbyterian Sunday School and Choir Fund. The concert was organised by Messrs Roy Spademan and J. T. Leech, Solos were rendered by Misses Valda D M’Curdy, Blackwood, and Haast Mitchell,. Messrs J. T. Leech. Parker, Geo. Ansell, and Peter Anderson (who also delighted the audience with a number of humorous quartets). Mr Spademan’s violin solos were warmly received, as were also a number of elocutionary items by Miss Yates, and several duets by Miss Mitchell and Mr Anderson. The whole programe was a musical treat, and he hope wa- expressed ha Mr Spademan and his pary would favour'. Green Island with' another concert in the early part of next year. Mesdames Spackmau and Leech were the accompanists..
