(Received December 23, at 10.30 p.m.l Mr Justice Long-lunes gave a ruling in the Bankruptcy Court that under the Defamation Act a plaintiff who obtained judgment against another person could keep that person in prison for twelve months. His Honour said there was no power to release a judgment debtor except at the will of the judgment creditor.
