(Received December 23, at 10.30 a.m.)' Although there are 500 unemployed miners in the Lithgow district who are willing to work, the Miners’ Federation rejected the offer of the Australian Iron and Steel Company to give temporary employment to 'at least 100' of these men. The Secretary of the federation said, the proposal could not be entertained, as it would involve a breach of union principles. _____
