The home team made 156 in tho first innings, to which the visitors replied with 253, and when Wellington’s second innings closed for 164 yesterday it looked as though Wanganui would mako the 68 runs necessary to win without difficulty. However, they were all out for 61. In Wanganui’s second innings Dolt caught four men. Stevenson took four wickets for 20 runs, and Robinson three for 22. Tho only two batsmen to reach double figures were Tiornabrook (19) and limes (15 not out).
