Clyde ihjst night, addressing his supporters. Tha ' legislation to be passed would give the people their fair share of the good things of. life, and something , like equality for everybody. There had been a fundamental change. Tim United Party, standing for the -Liberal interests, was in power, and for that occasion everyone was pleased and “It is iny honest conviction,” he said, “ that- the; Ministerial team selected by Sir Joseph Ward is a very splendid one. Indeed, I have mot a few of-the Ministers, and as far as I am able to gather , there are some progressive men, men of vision, and men who are prepared to do their job in the new Cabinet. Taken all round, the Ministerial team is a very fin© group of men, and wd can look to. them for the type of legislation for which New Zealand has been striving for many years.” ■
