TREATY AMD NAVAL BILL CONSIDERATION HELD OVER Press Association—By Telegraph— Copyright. WASHINGTON, December 20. (Received December 21, at 10 a.m.) After » filibuster lasting over two hours the warring Senate factions agreed to delay consideration of both the Kellogg Treaty and the Naval Cruiser Bill until after the Christmas recess. Under the agreement both measures will be made unfinished business of the Senate on the Order Paper of January 3, and the Senate must then vote on which it desires to take up first. The agreement was made only as a last resort to prevent the filibuster continuing until December 22 (adjournment time) , and thus tying up all the Senate business. The settlement was proposed oy Senator Borah, who pledged that he would move as soon as the Senate met on January 3 to proceed with consideration of the treaty in open executive session. Senator Borah indicated that ne honed in that, manner to get the treaty passed before the Naval Bill.—Australian Press Association.
