THE AMERICAN OUTBREAK THREE MILLION GABES BY CHRISTMAS. Press Association—By Telcgraph—Gopyright, WASHINGTON, December 20. (Received December 21, at 9.6 a.m.) With the- wave of the influenza epidemic steadily approaching tho larger centres of population, the Public Health officials predict a total of 3,000,000 cases by Christmas. Experts are agreed that Hit-lo can be done to stop tho epidemic until the cycle has expired, wliich normally runs from three to six weeks.—Australian P.A.
