Witness submitted other reports by Goddard replying to the anonymous charges, in which Goddard said that the writers must be suffering from hallucinations or wore confirmed liars. The superintendent added that considerable expense had been incurred by Goddard throughout hia observations. Witness once paid out £BO in expenses to him.
