HAWTHORNE PRIVATE SCHOOL A largo gatherin': of parents and friends interested in the students of Hawthorne Private School and Kindergarten attended the All Saints’ School Room last evening, when the prize giving ceremony eventuated. Prior to the presentation of prizes by the Hcv. W. Hardy Johnston, a delightful entertainment was given by the pupils, who showed obvious signs of sound training. The hall and stage were attractively decorated tor the occasion, white a handsome Christmas tree, bountifully laden, was a most effective addition to Urn Christmas atmosphere prevailing.
