AN AMERICAN MERGER Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright NEW YORK, December 13. The largest consolidation, yet undertaken in the American aviation industry, resulting in the formation of a corporation with securities having the market value of 150,000,000d01, has been arranged under the auspices of the National City Company and the Pacific ■ National Bank of Seattle. Officials of the National City Bank, General Motors, Ford Motors Company, and the Standard Oil Company will he included in the board of directors. The new concern, which will merge the Pratt Whitney Aircraft Corporation, will be known as t the United Aircraft and Transport ’ Corporation.—Australian Press Association.
