THE MIDNIGHT HOUR
SPIRIT MANIFESTATION REPORTED Press Association-By Telegraph —Copyright. LONDON, December 16. The spirit of Viscountess Grey, according to the family, appeared at Wilsford Manor, Salisbury, which she bequeathed, together with £90,000, to her son, who is the British Broadcasting Corporation announcer, and who is still keeping tbo job. Miss Baddeley declares that she aas awakened at midnight by an uncanny feeling that there was someone in the room, ami she heard footsteps most distinctly. H was so dark that she could not see, but she is certain that someone was walking and then kneeling in the room, which was one that, the Viscountess frequently used. Lights revealed nothing, and the spirit has not been at Wilsford since. Lady Grey had, during her life, claimed spirit communications with those departed.—Australian Press Association.
