The harbour collision on October 22, when the steamers St. Albans and Crown City were seriously damaged, was the subject of litigation in which the owners of tho Crown City, the United States Shipping Board, had sued to recover-£17,000 damages. The Cliief Justice held that the St. Albans was at fault, and he directed the registrar in the Admiralty to ascertain and award the damages. An appeal against this judgment to-day came before the Full Court, ‘which upheld it with costs, each party to pay its own costs of the first trial.
