DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE, No business was reported Ibis morning, Bank of Adelaide bad,a buyer at £9 lb., and £SO 5s was offered for Bank of Now South Wale Buyers offered £B. 9a for E.S. and A. Banks, but sellers did not respond. Sellers predominated in the insurance section, the only buying quotation being for A.P.A. Insurance at -5s 6d. P. and O. Deferred Stock was wanted at sbs 6d. and Ibc quotation for Wright, Stephenson, and Co. ordinary shares was buyers 22s 6d, sellers 265. For the preference issue 16s 9d was offered. A buyer offered 24s bd for Crystal Ice Company’s shares, with a seller standing at 275. For Mosgiel Woollen Company’s shares buyers offered £7 4s, but sellers stood at £7 10s. Buyers also advanced their limit for New Zealand Drug Company’s, and offered 725, with the best seller at 755. Preference shares in Electrolytic Zincs were wanted at 35s 6d, and 34s 6d was offered for the ordinary issue. Mount Lyclls were firm, and buyers were prepared to give 395, with sellers prepared to accept 39s 9d. Sellers were scarce in all Government tax-free issues of shares. quotations as under:—
