HOMAGE TO MEMORY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, OSLO, December 14. Homage was paid to Captain Roald Amundsen’s memory on tho seventeenth anniversary of the discovery of the South Pole. All traffic was stopped for two minutes at Oslo and Cojienliagcn. The King, the Crown Prince, and Captain Amundsen’s family were among the gathering at Oslo, while at Copenhagen the gathering was addressed by the Crown Prince, who declared; “The northern light is writing Captain Amundsen’s name in flames on the horizon.”—Australian Press Association.
