ABORIGINES DYING
DROUGHT-STRICKEN AREA Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrifht, MELBOURNE, December 13. Mr Gill, a member of the Anthropological Society, declares that scarcity of water, following a prolonged drought, i lias been responsible for hundreds of aborigines dying in Northern and Central Australia. Ho says the Ecdcral Government should afford succour by taking the natives to permanent water supplies for a time, and distributing Hour and provisions.
