Tho whole industry was capable of producing gas, and twenty-four hours after war was declared civilian aircraft could bo quickly transferable into gas-emittuig machines. Ho declared that tho Communists had discovered another gas depot at Hamburg. This gas when analysed proved to bo what was known during tho war as “ blue cross.” No less than 163,000 kilogrammes of it was stored in tho centre of Hamburg. Tho Communists reported that after tho discovery tho gas'hud been removed. Tho speaker and his colleagues then carried in a largo bomb, which the speaker declared was one of hundreds of thousands which were being manufactured secretly at tho fechichau works at Elbing, which tho Government proposed to purchase.
