LONDON TRAFFIC
THE POOL SCHEME APPROVED BY COUNCIL. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, LONDON, December 12. After hours of sitting the London County Council approved of a traffic pool providing for agreements between the underground and other traffic concerns and the Loudon tramways. The Labour Party forced twenty-eight divisions throughout the night, alleging that the object of the pool was to give the underground railways a monopoly of London traffic. The scheme will go before_ Parliament. —Australian Press Association.
