(Received December 13, at 10 a.m.) Messrs Babcock and Wilcox, Limited, state that their board investigated the Sydney transaction, which appears to have occurred two and a-half years ago. Whatever had been done in Sydney was without the board’s knowledge or authority.—Australian Press Association.
