(Received March 2, at 9 a.m.) The weather is fine and bright lor training at Caulfield, On the grass Naos, in defeating Kentle, covered ten furlongs in 2min 13soc, the first mile occupying linin 49sec. Euston did the best four furlongs in 49sec, Simeons and Fort Pascoe, seven furlongs in Imin 31see. and the last six furlongs in linin 17sec Imitator did the best ten in 2min 12sec. the first mile in Imin 46isec. Amounis, with J. Daniels up, ran the best six furlongs in Imin Is|see. Biskra (F. Dempsey) covered six furlongs, going well, in Imin IGJsec, and the last four in 504 see. Prepcstcrer (J. Pike), in defeating Ragazzo and AA’illowyn, went six furlongs from a standing start in Imin ISsec. Donaco covered four furlongs in 50sec. Black Duchess (AV. Duncan) covered three furlongs in 37Jsec, and Lady Yarborough covered five furlongs in Imin 3sec on the sand, Sans Culotto ran four furlongs in 53scc, Baringhnp striding six furlongs in Imin 27see. Avant Courier covered six furlongs easily in Imin 23sec.
At Flcmingtou on the course proper, Chrystal (J. Jones) covered five furlongs in Imin Ifscc, the first two in 24isec, and four in 59sec.
On the grass Ninbcl and Brown Rajah covered a mile in Imin 461 sec. Thracian Belle went five furlongs in Imin llsec. Trivalve and Lesouriccau went ten furlongs on the tan in 2min 15sec. Pilliewinkie went thirteen furlongs in 2min 57scc. Snear Maiden and Ogral covered a mile in Imin 451 sec.
