WEMBLEY DANCE CLUB
The Early Settlers’ and Pioneer Halls were on Saturday evening transformed into a fairyland, with beautiful Eastern decorations, and large flags of all nations. Added to this, balloons* streamers, and paper hats, under the ever-changing colors from powerful spotlights, gave the desired carnival effect. The 650 dancers present uv eluded a party of officers and men from H.M.S. Laburnum, and it was voted one of the happiest evenings that the club has yet held. The musical provrnmme was in the hands of Arthur Gordon’s Dance Band and Will Smith s Kauai Orchestra. • The extras, which were played by Mr W. H.
