Herbert Barker Gibbs did not appear before Mr J. P. Bartholomew, S.M., at the Port Chalmers Court to-day to answer a charge of being on the licensed premises of the Port Cbahners Hotel after hours on Saturday, bebruary 18. He was convicted and fined 20s, with posts amounting to 10s.
