DUNEDIN S'IOCK EXCHANGE. Again no business was done at the Stock Exchange call this morning. Bank of New Zealauds had a buyer at £2 19s without any response from sellers; the long-term issue, also, without a seller, was inquired for at £1 6s 3d. Commercial Banks have firmed during the last few days, buyers now of* feriug £1 7s Bd, with a seller at £1 B*. A buyer of E S. and A. Banks quoted £B, but no seller would come lower than £8 3s 6d. There was a dearth of sellers in the insurance section, Nationals being the only issue thus quoted. In this case a seller offered to quit at 15s lOd, the best buy. ing price being 15s sd. Westport Coik were in demand at £1 10s, and were met by a seller at £1 lls 6d. Mortgages were quoted ex dividend this morning at 5s 6d per share, a buyer offering £5 10s. Electrolytic Zincs were also quoted cx-dividcnd. Buyers offered £1 lls 3d for the preference issue and £1 10s for the deferred ords. As usual there was a preponderance of buyers in the Government Loans section; the per cent, bonds md inscribed being very firm. Quotations as under:—
