(Received March 2, at 10.10 a.m.) Mrs Hoey was found not guilty on a charge of murdering her husbancl. [Norman Hoey, a shearing contractor, was shot dead on October 14 while sitting in his motor car ni a street in Imerell. His wife was later charged with murder, and in a statement to the police said she . had been living apart from him for three years, and as she did not receive justice in the court when she sued her husband for allegedly trying to run her down in a motor car recently, she had shot him to protect herself.]
