At the wool (sales there was the keenest demand for all sections, with an unabated hardening tendency, particularly in comebacks and cross-breds. LONDON PRODUCE MARKETS. The following cabled advice has been received by the Bank of New South Wales: — Wool. —Market very firm, active. Mutton.—Wethers, 4Jd, Tffd; nominal ; short supplies. Ewes, 4id, 5Jd; nominal; short supplies. Lamb, 9d. lOd; reduction in place has improved demand. Beef, 6td, Bd. Butter, J. 625, 168 s; firm. Cheese, 94 s, 955; steady.
