ALL BLACKS' BOOTS
CONTRACT UT TO BRITISH FIRM BUSINESS MEN SPEAK NT [Special to the ‘Stab.’] AUCKLAND, February 29. A contract has been let to a British firm to supply football boots to tho All Blacks for the Soutli African tour. This fact was mentioned at the inaugural fortnightly mooting of tho newlyformed Symoiids Street Business Association.
One speaker took particular exception thereto, maintaining that New Zealand firms should have had the first consideration, and he asserted that just as good an article, if not better, could be turned out in this dominion. His remarks were made when seconding a vote of thanks to the Rev. A, M. Niblock, secretary of the Auckland Advertising Club, who had pointed out the advantages of being aSiliated to that institution, one of which was the making known of the value of New Zea-land-made articles.
