Great interest is being displayed in the Road Transport Bills, promoted in Parliament by the railway companies, and which will be debated on the second reading in the House of Commons to-morrow, and probably Wednesday evening. The principle involved in the five identical Bills of each of the five railway groups—the extension of the powers of the railway companies to enable them to provide road transport services—will be decided on .the results of these measures.
