MISS LEAP YEAR BEAUTY CONTEST

Competitors in the above contest at to-night’s fancy dress masquerade will note that they may parade in evening* dress or fancy costume, and competitors in the fancy costume parade must wear domino masks. It is the desire of the promoters that all should wear masks, and there will be a general unmasking at midnight, when the beauty contest for Miss Leap Year will bo held. After the show ‘At the Crossroads,’ in the Princess Theatre tonight, Mr George Wallace and his company will take the straight road to the_ Early Settlers’ Hall, where the genial comedian will fill the position of judge. Tables may be reserved. ’Thirty per cent, of the proceeds go to local charitv and sports funds.
