LATE SPORTING
VICTORIAN BOWLERS DEFEATED BY BAY QF ISLANDS. [Per United Press Association.] ROTORUA, February 27. Tlio Victorian bowlers arrived at noon on Saturday, and played five rinks representing the Bay of Islands in the - afternoon. The Victorians were defeated by 129 points to 95. Mr David Maider, accompanied by bis mechanic, will leave by road on Wednesday for Invercargill. Mr Maider will bo a competitor in the Dominion Speed Cup of the motor races to bo held at Oreti Beach, Saturday next, and will drive his own Chrysler special racer.
