NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER MAKING A BY-LAW. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Green Island Borough Council, at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose and held on Monday, the 16th day of January, 1928, Passed the following RESOLUTION, making a By-law to be known as “The Green Island Borough By-law No. 7, 1928,’’ the object and purport of such By-law being to empower the said Council from time to time to appoint, abolish, or vary Parking Places where private motor care may be left unattended, and to make rules and regulations prescribing the conditions under such parking may be permitted. The Resolution referred to is as follows: “ That the Green Island Borough Council, m pursuance of the powers and provisions of ‘The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,' and in pursuance of all and every other power contained in any other Act enabling tho said Corporation in that behalf, hereby resolves that tho proposed By-law submitted herewith, to be known as ‘ The Green Island Borough By-law No. 7. 1928,’ empowering the said Council from time to time to appoint, abolish, or vary parking places where private motor cars may bo left unattended, and to make rules and regulations prescribing the conditions under which such parking may be permitted, bo and the same is hereby adopted as a Bylaw; and it is further resolved that this resolution bo submitted to a Special Meeting of tho Green Island Borough Council to be held on Monday, the 27th day of February, 1928, for confirmation as a Special Order, to which meeting tho said proposed Bylaw shall also bo submitted for adoption.” And NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said Resolution will bo submitted to a Special Meeting of the said Council to bo held at 8 o’clock p.m. on MONDAY, tho 27th day of February, 1928, for Confirmation as a Special Order, to which Meeting the said By-law shall also be submitted for adoption. A copy of tho By-law is deposited in the Town Clerk’s Office, Main South road, Green Island, and is open for public inspection during ordinary office hours—viz.,- from Mondays to Fridays (inclusive) between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noou.
