DRUNK IN CHARGE OF CAR

George Lambert Bruce Wbilliams, a storekeeper, at Fordcll, was lined £SO this morning for being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor car. Evidence was given for the defence that he was a sober man apart from this lapse. The Magistrate (Mr Barton) accepted this evidence, and said he would not cancel the license, but this would reflect in the fine.
