PRIVATE SHOW IN ALBERT HALL QUESTION OF PERMISSION Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, February 26. (Deceived February 27, at 9.20 a.ra.) There is another surprise in connection with tho ‘Dawn’ film. It will be shown privately in Albert Hall on Tuesday before 10,000 to 12,000 invited prominent people and ex-service-men out of 60,000 applicants. The Albert Hall authorities have notified tho promoter that tho film cannot bo shown, tho London County Council having intimated that their permission must be obtained. Mr Wilcox slates that he did not know that permission was necessary in tho case of a private show, and will apply without delay. The Clerk of the London County Council says:—“Films not passed by tho censor must be submitted. We had no option in forbidding ‘Dawn* under tho circumstances.”
