MISS LEAP YEAR BEAUTY CONTEST

The above contest is being run in conjunction with the fancy dress masquerade being held in the Early Settlers’ Hall to-morrow evening, with cash prizes. Mr George Wallace and his company have accepted invitations to bo present, the genial comedian having kindly agreed to fill the .position of judge. The public are asked to note that the promoters are donating 20 per cent, of the proceeds to local charities and 10 per cent, to the Dunedin Soccer Grandstand fund. No expense is being spared to make Tuesday night a memorable joy night. Patrons are requested to wear masks.
