'l'llK AUSTRALIAN TEAM. SYDNEY, February 21. Tl l o Australian Olympic Federation lias detinitely chosen tho following team of ten to represent Australia at tho Olympic Games:—Sculling, H. R. Pearce; boxing and wrestling, A. E. Ford (bantam and feather); wrestling, T. P. Volgcr (light-weight); swimming, A. Charlton (-100 and 1,500 metres free style), T. Roast (hack-stroke), bliss E. Uavoy MOO metres free style); athletics, .1, Carlton (UK) and 200 metres), C. Stewart (100 and 800 metres), H. Whyte fSOO and 1,5(X) metres), J. R. Hyde (5,000 and 10,000 metres). It also recommended that the follow- i ing should lie sent in the order named, as hinds came in:—Swimming, Miss B. ,
Mealing; wrestling, T. H. Morris; cycling, J. Standen and D. Gray; athletics, E. M. Davidson; women’s sprints. Miss E. Robinson; swimming, R. Grier and E. W. Jones. Altogether twenty-one recommended by sub-com-inittecs came up for review, and it is likely that all will bo sent if the funds for which the federation is starting a drive are available. Mr T .es Duff, a well-known sportsman, has been chosen as manager of the team.
