DUNEDIN' STOCK EXCHANGE. Dank of New Zealand* had a buyer (bin morning at £2 18s 6tl, with a seller at £2 19s. A seller of Union Banks asked £U IS', but there was no buying quotation. A close market was shown in National Insurances, buyers and sellers quoting 15s 7d and 15s 9d respectively. Since this company’s shares were reduced to a smaller denomination there has been more business passing. No change from yesterday's prices was disclosed in the shipping section. Buyers offered £3 for Pukemiro Collieries without a seller being disclosed. A buyer came forward for the Wright, Stephenson preference issue at, 15s, with sellers Is away. Colonial Sugars advanced to £57 ss, but tellers did not respond. New Zealand Breweries were inquired for at £2 Is 9d, and the selling quotation was £2 3s. A hardening tendency was noticeable in New Zealand Breweries debentures, the quotations now being £1 3s and £1 3s sd. Botli issues of Electrolytic Zincs were still in demand, tbn preferences at £1 12s 6d, and the deferred ords. at £1 11s 3d. Quotations as under:
