February 24. Waikouaiti, s.s. (6.15. a.m.), 3,926 tons, Prosser, for Sydney via ports.
The Comma arrived this morning from Wellington direct. She is to leave again to-night for Nelson and New. Plymouth via ports. The Kartigi, for Westport, and the Storm for Wanganui via ports, both got away last night. The 'Waikouaiti sailed early this morning for Lyttelton and Timaru to complete discharge of her Australian cargo before going to Sydney. The Kurow leaves Bluff this evening for Dunedin, where she is due to-mor-row morning. The vessel is to sail the sanr- afternoon for Oamaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Kamo was due this altcrnoon from Bluff. She is to sail late to-night for Westport. The Opihi is expected to leave Paterson’s Inlet to-morrow evening tor Dunedin. where she is due on Sunday, The Gale is due on Monday irom Lyttelton, and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. It was expected that the City of Bath would be on her way to Launceston by 5 o’clock this evening. The' l S.S. and A. steamer Mahana let* Newcastle yesterday lor Gisborne to commence loading for London. The vessel will also load at Napier and Wellington, being scheduled to sail f.nally from the latter port on March 17 for London via Panama. An alteration in the loading itinerary of the Middlesex is announced. She is to leave New Plymouth to-morrow tor Pieton, Wanganui, Wellington, Napier, and Auckland. She will take her final departure Irom Auckland on March I’d tor London, Avoimioutlr, Glasgow, and Liverpool. Cabled news has been received that the King Egbert sailed Irom Antwerp on February 9 with a cargo ol basic slag tor discharge at Auckland, where sh! is due on April ti. Tim'S.S. and A. liner Malarua, now unloading general merchandise Irom London at Auckland, will, alter discharge, commence loading there lor the Homeward trip. She will complete at Pieton, Lvttclton, and 'Wellington, and will ho despatched from the last-named port on March 17 tor Southampton and London via Panama.
The Government steamer Hincmoa clocked at Auckland on Monday to have her hull cleaned and painted. She is to he ready to-morrow to sail tor Norfolk Island". THE FURRY SERVICE. The Maori, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 7.15 a.in. to-day, and southern passengers and mails connected with the first express. PAKEHA TO LOAD. The Shaw, Savill. and Albion steamer Pakeha is scheduled to reach Auckland on March 26 from Australia to commence loading for Homo. From that port the vessel proceeds to Opna, thence Wellington, Titnarn, Port Chalmers, and Bluff to complete, and is scheduled to sail finally from the latter port on April 18 for London via' Montevideo and Tenerife. , MAIMOA FOR AUSTRALIA. Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company that the Maimoa left London on Thursday with general cargo to discharge at Australian ports. She will afterwards come to New Zealand to load in May for Home. HFiRMINTUS’S ITINERARY. Due at .Auckland about Tuesday next from Antwerp, with slag for discharge at that port, the Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Herminius will, after discharge there, commence loading at Auckland, and later proceed to Gisborne, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington, and Port Chalmers to complete loading.' The Herminius is .scheduled to clear this port on April 1 for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool via .Panama.
