OBITUARY
M. i YVES GUYOT. _ PARIS, February 21. The death is announced of M. Yves Guyot, reputedly the only Frenchman who publicly supported Britain in connection with the Boer War in 1900. [M. Yves Guyot, who was a Republican and publicist, was eighty-four. He was political editor of ‘ Le Siecle ’ from 1892 to 1903, and carried on a campaign against Socialism. He was editor of ‘Journal des Economistes ’ from 1909.]
