DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. A sale was reported this morning of Bank of Australasia contributing® at £8 18s 9d; otherwise business was quiet. Union Banks were in demand at £l4 14s, tho nearest seller quoting £l4 17s. Goldsbrough Moris and New Zealand Loans have firmed up, a buyer offering £2 8s 3d for the former and £95 for the latter; Goldsbroughs had a seller at £2 8s 9d. Southland Frozen Meats are now quoted ex dividend with a buyer at £1 11s. Rubber shares seem to have weakened, doubtless due to the cables appearing in the papers with regard to what is to be done to protect the interest® of tho rubber growers, a matter which is now interesting the powers that be in the Old Country. ‘Otago Daily Times’ have firmed, a buyer offering £3 16s this morning for an odd parcel. A seller came on the market for Taranaki Oils at 10s 9d, but no buyer appeared. Breweries were freely quoted, but the tone of the market is changed very little. Mount Lyells were inquired for at £1 10s 3d, with a seller at £1 11s, Sales reported National Bank of Australasia (eout.), £8 18s 9d. Quotations as under;
