COLLISION ON YANGTSE
CHINESE STEAMER SUNK .Till passkngehs drowned, SHANGHAI, February 20. A Chinese steamer collided on the Yangtse with tho Japanese steamer Atsuta Maru. Tho former’s bows were stove in below the water line, and she quickly sank, 3(J() of the 500 passengers being drowned.—Sydney ‘Sun’ Cable.
