The Hon. W. Downie Stewart, Minister of Finance and Customs, who will be in Dunedin for about a fortnight, had no engagements of a public nature yesterday or to-day, but was engaged on departmental business. The use of the jury room in the law courts has been obtained for the transaction of public business connected with his departments during the Ministers stay in Dunedin.
