THE FINAL AMEN
THE LAST TRIBUTE TO LORD OXFORD IMPRESSIVE SERVICE IN ABBEY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, February 21. (Received February 22, at noon.) The Duke of York, representing the King, and Admiral Halsey, representing the Prince of Wales, other officers, Prince Arthur of Connaught, also peers, members of the Cabinet, statesmen, ambassadors, High Commissioners, _ and other Imperial representatives paid a last tribute to Lord Oxford at the Westminster Abbey service. Lady Oxford, P.rincess Bibesco, and other members of the family were in the deepest black. The altar steps were wreathed in flowers, and scarlet lupins blazed above the altar.
The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Dean of Westminster officiated. The prayers and hymns were impressively followed, the nation farewelling the dead statesman with the final amen.
