“ Don’t Bo Greedy.”—The picnic has been held. It was much less than a trade picnic or official picnic, owing to special difficulties.
“ Constant Reader.”—Mere payment of rent does not necessarily constitute a weekly tenancy. For the constitution of a weekly tenancy there must be an agreement, expressed or implied, that a week’s notice is sufficient time to terminate the tenancy. In this case there appears to bo a doubt. If there is no agreement as to the nature of the tenancy one calendar month’s notice under the Property Law Act, 1908, is required. After the expiry of the notice, if the tenant still continues in possession, the landlord can apply to the who must make an order lor possession if the rent is in arrears.
