THE CHERNIAVSKYS
OPENING RECITAL TO-NIGHT,
When Leo, Jan, and Mischel Cherni* avsky, the Russian musicians, who appear at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night, and also on Thursday and Saturday, were in India, their fame spread from north to south and from east to west. Soon the interest of the great princes of the land was aroused, and arrangements were made whereby the artists were to give private recitals at the palaces. These recitals were fraught with great novelty and interest to the Cher-* niavskys. the trio have toured practically every country in the world, and this is their sixth visit to the Southern, Hemisphere. Leo, Jan, and Mischel Chernmvsky will have, it is predicted, a full and appreciative audience when they make their appearance to-night. The box plan is open.
