DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Again there was a. dean sheet as far as sales were concerned at this morning’* will of the local Stoc.T Exchange. There vrere no unusual movements in the banking and insurance sections. A seller came forward for Huddart, Earlier ords. at £2 10s (cum. div.), with no disclosed buyer. Kaitangata Coals were on offer at 2s (discount), but the best buyer quoted 5s (discount). Gear Moats had an inquiry at £1 17s 3d; sellers, however, stood off at £1 18s 6d. Buyers were prepared to give £56 10s for Colonial Sugars, without response from sellers. Dominion Rubbers had a seller who was prepared to,quit at £2. There have been no buyers for this stock tor some time. The British Government, is setting up a research committee to inquire into the rubber industry, and investors appear to be waiting for its report and decision. For ‘Otago Daily Times ’ a buyer offered £3 14s with no declared seller. Both issues of New Zealand Breweries were quoted, and the prices were firmer. Upper Nevis shares were wanted at £1 0* 3d, but sellers held off at £1 2s. Quotations as under;
