To-day the first General Election under the extended suffrage laws is absorbing public interest. Polling commenced early this morning, and is proceeding quietly, although the excitement is increasing. It ,is generally expected that the Seiyukai Party will exceed the Minseito Party, hut that it will be unable to secure an absolute paajority, fif parties.
