Harris (Victoria) nor Channon (New South Wales) was eligible to take the cup, which will be fired for by Hood (Featherston) and Barrett (Sydenham). KAITANGATA CLUB The Kaitangata Defence Rifle Club on Saturday held the final shoot of the third competition for the Lee Cup, which is also the last two range shoots of the club championship. The conditions were fairly good; there was a “dead in ” wind most of the time, and a dull light, which, part of the time, was too dull for most riflemen. J. H. Frazer still maintains his lead for the championship, his total now standing at 563; Deputy-president W. Carson has jumped from fourth to second, but is 16 behind, hie total being 547. President F. Carson (543) and R. Kitto (5421 are nearest of the others. For the Lee Cup, with one throe-range match to fire, the position of the leaders now is;—J. H. Frazer, 391 ; G. Bellaney. 386; J. Bcllaney, 385; R. Kitto. 384 ;' T. Frazer, 382; others from 379 down to 374. The third competition resulted in a win for a tyro. G. Bcllaney. 134; with J. Bellaney, 156, second; T. Frazer and J. Mackie, 132. will shoot off for third nlace. J. H. Frazer and J. A. Bellaney, 131 each, were well up. The ladies fired the second stago_ of their cup match, with the following result;—
