TOUR DE FRANCE
WATSON TO COMPETE. Harry Watson, the well-known cyclist, has left for Melbourne to join the Victorian riders Oppcrman, Mainbridge, and Osborne. The quartet is to compete in the Tour do 1 ranee, the world’s biggest professional cycling contest. The competitors circle round France and complete a distance of 3,oUU miles in twenty-lour stag >s in about a month. With the Victorians, Watson is to leave Melbourne on March 6 for Toulon. They will spend two months training in the Pyrenees.
