LIGHT BREEZE

PROSPECTS FOR SANDERS CUP [Frou Our Own Reporter.] HALFMOON BAY, February 20. The weather is warm and hazy today, and a light nor-’easter is blowing. The indications are that the breeze will be light for the third race, in which case Eileen should again be to the fore. She gained many supporters by her sterling performance on Saturday afternoon. Visitors are having a more pleasant time than at any previous contest, the islanders doing everything possible to make their stay happy. A largely-attended picnic was held at Ulva yesterday, and later yachtsmen made a visit to the Norwegian whaling base at Price’s Bay, at which the mother ship is due this week after her expedition to Ross Sea. George Andrews will skipper Betty to-day. The suggestion that he should relinquish the command to lan Treleavan was not popular.

[Should the result be too late for the stop press, it will bo displayed in the city.]
