THE SECOND RAGE EILEEN'S CHANCES [From Our Own Reporter,] HALFMOOX BAY, February 18. Overcast and warm weather is being experienced to-day. Misty rain _ tell early in the morning, but _ quickly cleared. There is hardly a ripple on the Patterson’s Inlet, the westly wind being exceedingly light. There is an indication, however, that the breeze will strengthen later. A keen race should be seen this alternoon over the .triangular course, _ and Eileen can be expected to again give a creditable display. Her chance will be particularly bright if the breeze continues light. Last night the Stewart Island Boating Club entertained the visiting yachtsmen at a smoke concert, when all the speakers spoke appreciatively of the hospitality of the island population and the beauties of the island. Nearly 200 arrived by the tug Southland from Bluff this morning to watch the second race. Should the result be too late for the stop press it will be displayed in the city. _ : ...
