(Received February 17, at 11.30 a.m.) Dr Linley Gordon appeared before the House Naval Committee on behalf of the World Alliance for International Friendship, and attacked the large appropriations, after which Senator Biitteu said; “From my viewpoint you might as well be a member of the British Parliament. You could do Britain no greater service than by obstructing this naval programme.” Dr Gordon statqd that he was born in Australia, came to the United States in 1904, and became a citizen in 1925. He denied being pro-British.
